Divas of Bling - Ladies Weekend

What are your best ladies weekend stories?

A week ago friends came to ATL and it was a girlz weekend without kids or husbands. Well, their kids and their husbands. My friends flew in from 4 corners and the motto for the weekend "Sleep Less Shop More". I don't have kids and my hubby donned himself at our service for the weekend. Bliss in the making.

I purchased Tiaras at the apparel mart and very comfy sleep shirts from Charter Club at Macy's along with bath beads and a candle to start the weekend with bling and aromatherapy.

We had so much fun - shopping late at the mall the night they arrived, eating Thanksgiving leftovers and the next day starting the morning with trips to : Homegoods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls (Buckhead Crossing), Lunch at the Buckhead Diner, then OLD Navy, Nordstroms Rack (Buckhead Loop).

With the bags stored in the rear of my SUV we drove to the 6pm show at The Punchline Comedy Club on Hildebrand Drive. Bonus - the tickets cost $20 regularly but I googled a coupon code and got them FREE.

Still wearing our Tiaras, the compliments flowed and the neighboring table bought us a 2nd bottle of champagne. The tiaras in our small group attracted attention of waiters, neighboring dining guests, people walking by, fellow shoppers, cashiers etc..., "Are you really a Princess?", "Happy Birthday", "You girls better return those tiaras to my closet", "Who is getting Married?" "What's the occassion?", "I think it's great and you are all beautiful"

We ended the night eating Tapas in Decatur's Carpe Diem with a trio of desserts. I feel so blessed that this spur of the moment weekend trip worked out and everyone had a good time.

Barbette Gave my hubby a gold crown and couldn't say enough about how wonderful he is. Yes I have a lot to be thankful for. The girls took off to the ATL airport still wearing their Tiaras.
Because I gave away my beautiful tiara to a lovely lady at the Punchline, I purchased 5 more to give as gifts for the holidays. Every woman wants to be relentlessly pursued and her opinions valued. Wearing a sparkling little bling makes it all magical.
